Eddy County Detention Center handles county detention and release questions. County NextRequest is the safest written route for a booking-specific release packet. Sheriff Records and its Artesia sub-office provide local records contacts, while NMCD holds state-prison and supervision files.

  • For an ended county booking or its release packet, use the home search and records process or submit the county NextRequest form.
  • For post-release supervision, use Eddy County parole and probation and contact Region IV.
  • For people released during a selected day, use the 24-hour release list method.
  • For an NMCD calculation or alert, use the projected-date and VINELink pages in the footer.
  • For direct release from Artesia holding, ask APD or Artesia Municipal Court; for transfer, check ECDC.
  • For a sentenced federal prisoner, use BOP; for recent immigration custody, use ICE.
